Newsweek magazine just released its annual ranking of the 1,300 top public high schools throughout the United States. Here is how Gainesville’s high schools fared:

Buchholz High School: #86 (2008 ranking: #112)

Eastside High School: #20 (2008 ranking: #29)

Gainesville High School: #377 (2008 ranking: #542)
