Then Lake Wauburg has just what you are looking for.
Donated to the University of Florida Student Union in 1938 by the YMCA, Lake Wauburg is a private park offering all of these activities and more — FREE — to all University of Florida students, faculty, and staff.
There are two entrances into this gorgeous lake park — the North and the South Entrance.
North Shore offers:
- Canoeing
- Kayaking
- Sailing
- Paddle boating
- Swimming
- Water skiing
- Wakeboarding
South Shore offers:
- Challenge Course
- Disc Golf
- Climbing Wall
Both the North and South Shores offer picnic facilities.
This gorgeous private park is located off of US 441 in Micanopy, just a short drive from Gainesville FL.
