Turkey Creek Neighborhood Spotlight

Turkey Creek is a gated golf community in Alachua Florida. Regularly making the list of Gainesville’s top-selling neighborhoods, this pool neighborhood is located 12 miles from UF Health Shands Hospital and the University of Florida. This tranquil neighborhood is surrounded by nature and offers residents peaceful sanctuary within a convenient drive to downtown Gainesville.  There is a mandatory HOA.

Amenities

Named after the creek that runs through the community, this Alachua neighborhood is the home to lots of wildlife including deer, raccoons, hawks, and foxes.  

Community amenities include a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, batting cage, baseball diamond, and playground.  Golf course membership is separate.

Many of the homes within the neighborhood overlook the fairways of the Turkey Creek Golf Club, one of only two public golf courses in Alachua County.  Located within the neighborhood, the restaurant Creek’s 19th is a great place to grab a burger or a quick drink with friends.

The neighborhood abuts San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, affording easy access to miles of walking, biking, and equestrian trails. The hiking trails of Turkey Creek Preserve and Devils Millhopper Geological State Park are just a short distance away.

Schools

The neighborhood is zoned for Irby Elementary School, Mebane Middle School, and Santa Fe High School. School zoning is subject to change.
